Dr. Baruch Perlman holds a Master’s in School and Clinical Psychology and a doctoral degree in Psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His doctoral research, conducted under the guidance of Prof. Nilly Mor, included ISF-funded projects focused on developing Cognitive Bias Modification (CBM) interventions to foster positive inferential styles and flexibility, as well as examining the links between inferences, depressed mood, and ruminative thought. He completed his clinical internship at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center, and then worked as a therapist in private practice and at the Lamerchav L’noar mental health clinic. In his clinical work, Dr. Perlman is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance use issues. His approach emphasizes the integration of person-centered treatment with cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic techniques, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. Dr. Perlman currently serves as a Researcher at the ICAMH and as a clinical psychologist at the ICAMH/Hadassah Clinic for Addiction and Double Diagnosis
