Ayala Jacob is a Rehabilitation Psychology intern and therapist at the ICAMH-Hadassah clinic for addiction and double diagnosis. Ayala completed her Bachelor degree in psychology and Master degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Psychology at Bar-Ilan University. She is currently pursuing a PhD degree in the Department of Psychology at Bar-Ilan University, focusing on mental health stigma within cultural contexts, particularly in the Haredi community. In addition, she is working in rehabilitation psychology at Clalit Health Services. Her clinical experience focuses on women’s health and fertility, addressing issues such as postpartum depression, grief and loss, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, and chronic pain. Ayala integrates diverse therapeutic approaches including dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
